Подниму-ка я тему…

Ситуация такая: каждую вторую загрузку, пропадает звук: vlc пишет что-то вроде ошибки команды CARD=Intel;default, а mplayer не находит /dev/dsp…

На текущий сеанс помогает вернуть звук только удаление/перезапись ~/.asoundrc Что за… ? И куда подевался звуковой ввод от тюнера ?

Мдя… не получается пропесочить в девайсы alsa-base.conf

со слотами тоже поиграл - без изменений.

Да, KDE на борту есть (из за софта) но пользуюсь XFCE

Фишка в том, что устройство для вывода звука (если прописать в настройках канал вывода через альзу) работает, стабильно не работает только микширование с источников звука, ну вот вам вывод, сначала mplayer:
раз: mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=0,0 /usr/share/sounds/KDE-Im-Phone-Ring.wav (и не должен работать, ибо в нормально работающей ОС, это устройство для ввода звука)

 Приведи в девственный вид все конфиги связанные с саундами, никто не знает где ты там что наковырял.
А уж как сделаешь все так как было бы при чистой установке, тогда можно будет разбираться.
