DM не пускает в систему, не стартуют ИКСЫ.

Свежий arch wm -awesome , после установки все прекрасно работало, но после очередной перезагрузки не смог войти в систему. DM всегда просит ввести пароль заново. Пробовал делать автологин - не помогает. Пробовал менять DM тоже не помогло. Slim писал failed to execute login command.

Удалил все файлы с измененными конфигами, переустановил xorg c dm , все тоже самое.

По команде startx появляется сообщение об ошибке, а затем появляется темный экран. Приложил снимок монитора: https://itmages.ru/image/view/5458510/955f63e0

Я же писал, что пробовал все основные DM с арчвики. Первым отказал lxdm.

Slim единственный, кто что-то писал.

lxdm просто перегружался и вновь просил ввести пароль.

Что за изврат с грепом? Хватит:
$ ls -l ~/.Xauthority
И вообще, иксы свободно стартуют и без .Xauthority, хоть и с предупреждением.

Про slim уже сказали: не полностью совместим с Systemd, в том числе logind сессий. Рассмотрите возможность использования другого менеджера дисплея или Xinitrc.
Про приключения на пятую точку - тоже.

И ни один из них не нужен. Что вы намутили/не_доделали сказать трудно. Шаги к репродукции не указаны, да и повторять их вряд ли кто-то станет.
На счет DM ........ полностью согласен с Aivar .....

И вообще, если хочешь решить проблему, нужно как можно больше сделать упрощений (в смысле выкинуть не нужное, например, DM) и смотреть, что будет без этого - если без DM проблема исчезнет, значит проблема в этом, если не исчезнет - проблема не в DM
И, главное, свою проблему лучше тебя никто не решит ….... могут только что подсказать, дать совет и т. п. - все известно только тебе, другим многое не видно и не понятно, ….. что ты делал, что менял …...
PS …. плюс к описанному Aivar, настораживает еше и это …

Ошибки не исчезают с опытом - они просто умнеют
И вообще: "DM не пускает в систему" - это бред некорректное выражение. Экранный менеджер, равно как и иксы, никакого отношения к системе не имеет.
